With an ever dependable Shreya Ghoshal roped in for the female part, the song promises a long run for itself. A fun number which is all over the entertainment channels and radio stations already, ' Humse Pyaar Kar Le' is set in India the way it was 100 years ago but still the song doesn't sound outdated one bit. He is complimented well by Mika Singh who adds another popular number to his names. Yet again Wajid brings himself as a singer and renders this one entirely different from the way he had approached ' Mukhtasar'. With at least two songs so far promising to make their way up in the charts, there is another hit in the making with ' Humse Pyaar Kar Le Tu'. Rafi and Asha Bhosle and go all out in letting their hair down here. The ones who add that extra zing to the proceedings are Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan who fill in well for Mohd. Right from the tune to the arrangements to the way the song is picturised, one can be rest assured that Shammi Kapoor would have been proud had it heard and seen the song. However Sajid-Wajid hit a six with ' Jabse Mere Dil Ko Uff' which goes all out in reliving the era gone by. In the past there have been quite a few songs that have tried to recreate the Bollywood feel of the 60s and the 70s. What comes next is the highlight of the album, ' Jabse Mere Dil Ko Uff'. Now one looks forward to see how the song has been picturised because Prasoon's lyrics have a certain poetic feel to it and hence a lot depends upon the visual effect that Kunal Kohli brings here. Moving at a decent pace with no Western influence whatsoever, it is the kind of song that you can play in a loop and forget the rest. With Rahat Fateh Ali Khan at the helm of affairs, you expect a certain outcome and thankfully he doesn't disappoint. The 'remix version' is done well too and even though the starting portion of the song does remind one of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's ' Tumhi Dekho Naa', one lets it go since the music by itself is so tuneful that you want to hear what Sajid-Wajid have in the offering here.Īn altogether different style of music is offered with ' Allah Jaane' which has a soulful feel to it. In fact the way he sings reminds one of many Pakistani singers who have given chartbusters in Bollywood flicks.

What also impresses it the way Wajid sings this one in a free flow and justifies the decision of bringing himself behind the mike. A winner all the way which has Western arrangements complimenting the 'desi' melody that Sajid-Wajid bring to fore here, ' Mukhtasar' is immensely catchy and is also quite eye pleasing. The expectations are more than just met with the opening track ' Mukhtasar' successfully setting the stage for the rest of the album. With Prasoon Joshi as the lyricist, expectations soar further as you look forward to a massy soundtrack with a classy touch. What further makes one confident of the score in the offering is Sajid-Wajid at the helm of affairs who are going through some terrific times. Moreover with Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra as the young 'jodi' in a film that is based in the romantic 'jodi', it is expected that music would be the mainstay of the enterprise all over again. Right from Mujhse Dosti Karoge to Hum Tum and then Fanaa, his films have relied on melody. Kunal Kohli's films have more often than boasted of good music.
